Get Acquainted with... DJ Fabrication 3.10.24
If you've been ambling the outskirted avenues of central Liverpool throughout the last year or so, you have perhaps crossed paths with a new and exciting musical movement. Indeed, underneath the disused railway arches of Love Lane you'll find Quarry - a community-centric live music space and recording studio. And if you've shuffled through the narrow doorway into the warming glow of one of the North West's most distinguished independent venues, you may well have been greeted with the invigorating vision of DJ Fabrication.
Presenting a series of unmissably intimate nights showcasing the very best in new turntabilist talent teetering on the edge of widespread acclaim, FABRICATION is a Must Attend event and one that occurs at Quarry on a regular basis.
Yet not content with fostering the foundation of this Wax-only eclectic underground community, DJ Fabrication has pushed forward further still dropping a debut EP, 'Epilogue', now available on Bandcamp.
A four track examination of the modern day capitalistic approach to Artistic expression, 'Epilogue' weaves it's message through a brain-bending blend of innovative Garage, psychotropic Techno and dark n' dingy Break Beats.
When not promoting sell-out inclusive club nights or casually releasing essential extended plays, DJ Fabrication is plying their trade on the road. With the most recent Fabrication event at Manchester's hugely influential Eastern Bloc Records on Steven Square alongside Emmett G & Glue founder DJCD just this past month.
And yes, DJ Fabrication also helms an Open Vinyl Night every other Thursday evening at Hemingways Cafe on Tithebarn Street. In characteristic fashion, the host harbours an all genres welcome policy which has created a dynamically diverse collective of music enthusiasts congregating for a truly unique experience. You can request your very own slot simply by making contact on Instagram.
With so many spinning (sound-scratched) plates, DJ Fabrication's ingenious future is nothing but inventive.
